Space Fillings, 2018

Space Fillings is about the polyhedra that can fill an infinite 3D space, and the properties of each class of polyhedra. Various classes of polyhedral geometry (rhombic dodecahedron, truncated octahedron, etc) with a different set of properties each is going to be studied to see if they can fill an infinite 3D space, or if their geometry limits its potential. Some of the polyhedron properties studied are face configurations, edge properties, and angle properties. There are some polyhedrons that initially look like they can fill space, but when extended, they cannot. Some polyhedrons can fill space with only one unit. Physical polyhedrons will be used to represent the sets of problems.
