A series of triangular wooden slats spiral around an empty circular center. Each equilateral triangle sits slightly offset from the previous one; tips gradually rotate toward the base and disappear into the ground. Depending on the viewing angle, the structure reads as either floating above the grass or rising from the lawn. Visitors move around and through it; perspectives shift with position.
Research:
Each triangle is placed with a fixed rotational offset around the spiral axis so that the sequence forms a continuous band from the base to the top. The offset angle and triangle size set the pitch of the spiral and the rate at which the tips converge toward the centre. The algorithm positioned the triangles and checked clearances and structural stability for the wooden slats and cable fixings.
